Operations Officer- LT Josh Slater Been Operations Officer on Nancy Foster since July 2011. LT Slater previously served as Navigation Officer on the NOAA Ship McArthur II and has supported numerous missions up and down the west coasts of North and South America, and as far out as Hawaii. In his recent land assignment with the Office of Response & Restoration’s Emergency Response Division (HAZMAT), he was Regional Response Officer and Asst. Scientific Support Coordinator for the West Coast of the US, Alaska and Hawaii. LT Slater holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and a Master of Science in Marine Science, both from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. |

Navigation Officer - ENS Richard “Jamie” Park Been on Nancy Foster since June 2010 ENS Park graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Marine Science. He joins the NOAA Corps and the Nancy Foster after four years of coaching youth sailors in Tampa, Florida, and is excited for the new experiences ship life will bring. ENS Park hails from Duluth, Georgia, where he was born and raised, before moving to the Tampa Bay area in May of 2002. He currently resides in Charleston, SC with his wife and two children. |

Junior Officer - ENS Sarah Lewis ENS Lewis graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelors degree in Biology, and Greek and Roman Studies. She joins the Nancy Foster after working aboard the University of Miami's R/V F. G. Walton Smith as an assistant scientist and deckhand. ENS Lewis is an avid SCUBA diver and in her free time enjoys sailing Hobie Cats and sculpting. She is excited for the many adventures that NOAA has to offer. |
