Senior Survey Technician - Colleen Peters, Hometown: Trumbull, Connecticut

Colleen has worked on a variety of ships, both sailing and motor, since high school. Prior to the Okeanos Explorer she worked on the NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson, sailing from Seattle to Nome, AK and everywhere in between. A Maine Maritime Academy graduate, Colleen runs the ship’s store, makes monkey's fist key chains and is the Senior Editor for Jack Tar Magazine. Colleen is an avid traveler, enjoys the occasional cosmopolitan and collects rubber duckies.
